How Photographing Your Wedding Works:
The first step is to book your wedding
date with our easy to use online reservation form. If you don't like online forms you can call us directly at (717) 649-4523 to reserve your wedding date. Please call well in advance so
that we can reserve your wedding date. Then we will ask you to read
and sign the wedding contract. A booking
fee is due at that time. The booking
fee is one half of the total cost and goes towards the final final cost. The remaining
amount is due one week prior to your
wedding date. Payment plans can be
arranged if necessary.
Step 2. Plan the People
to Photograph
If you want to do formal group portraits
you will need to decide on when you
want to do those. Normally, group and
family portraits are taken directly
after the ceremony. You may want
to make a list of the specific people
or groupings of people that
you would like. This is only necessary
if you have special requests beyond
the standard family and wedding party
groupings. You
may also want to designate someone
to gather family members and friends
for the pictures to reduce stress.
You
may also request that photographs
be taken at any special or meaningful
locations for you and your loved one.
One to
two weeks before the wedding I will
contact you to confirm the details.
Step 3. Have fun! We Photograph the Wedding.
In photographing a wedding we attempt
to be as subtle and as unobtrusive
as possible. However, there are certain
important images that I will be
right there for; the exchange of rings,
the first kiss, the bouquet toss. It
is my responsibility to capture
all of the meaningful moments during
the day. I'll be right there
with you, unobtrusively taking photographs
the entire time, so you won't miss a moment. I
will not instruct or direct you, except
during the formal group portraits.
During group portraits I'll request
that others wait to take additional
photos until after I have gotten
the shot. Once everyone is ready and
present for the group pictures they
go very fast. If you are concerned
with it taking too long or if you have
a large family, please let me know
and arrangements can be made to expedite
the portrait taking process.
Step 4. Share the
Wedding Photos with Friends and Family
You will be given
a date that the gallery will be online,
as well as the web site address to
share with friends and family. From
there you may select your favorite
images for print or for inclusion in
the storybook album.
So let Adept Creation photograph you wedding. Fill out our online booking form now and relax knowing you've taken care of it.
